The location of the hotel is great, very close to the beach and restaurants. It only takes a short walk to get to the beautiful Kata beach. Additionally, there are plenty of shops nearby for convenience.

I just loved being followed by street masseuses on my way to the hostel. Very refreshing.

The location was perfect for us young party animals. We had a blast hiking up to the Big Buddha and cycling around the stunning Kata hills. The staff was super friendly and helpful, giving us awesome tips for the best bars and clubs in Phuket. The vibe at the homestay was so chill, especially hanging out on the terrace with our new international squad. It was definitely a rad place for young people like us!

The only thing we wished for was a better party scene at the homestay itself. It would've been cool if they organized some fun events or had a DJ spinning sick beats by the pool.

The room was beautifully decorated and very clean, and the AC worked perfectly. We loved the location, as it was within walking distance to several beaches and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The price was also great for high season. Baan Thai Homestay By Bgb Villas is a fantastic alternative to the more expensive hotels in the area, and we highly recommend staying here!

Arriving early, the friendly lady at the homestay upgraded me to a double room instead of the dorm. Peaceful Christmas, room to myself for two nights. Clean room & bathroom. Free water, tea, coffee, cookies, bread. Fantastic atmosphere, met amazing people. Life-saver when I lost my debit card, owner helped with package delivery. Friendly owner, affordable prices. Walking distance to beach, restaurants, bars.

Super valued and nice stay. Arrived early, lady who ran the place checked me in a double room when the dorm room I booked got all boys. Very considerate and generous of her. Totally made my Christmas peaceful! Love this place, in the middle of Kata and Karon. Apart from clean, neat, simple rooms, I found a very welcoming atmosphere both from the staff and from the guests who tend to come to this place multiple times. The surrounding is quite safe and the guys who live in the hotel for a long period watch that no strangers would approach rooms and help guests when the reception's closed. A very nice and friendly atmosphere. I enjoyed the environment and met fantastic people there.

A bit dark in the rooms. There is a bar next door with a hilarious boss who thinks he has to play a bad two to three-hour rock concert every night until past midnight, even though there are no guests in his place.

The staff at this hostel are extremely helpful and efficient. When our room lost power, they immediately moved us to a new room. It wasn't as nice as the previous one, but it wasn't a big deal. They handled the situation like superheroes!

As avid bike riders, we loved the convenient location of Baan Thai Homestay. With everything within walking distance, including a 7/11 right across the street, it made it easy for us to explore the surrounding areas. The best dive center, Rumblefish, was also conveniently located nearby. We appreciated the free water bottle, as well as the constant supply of tea, coffee, cookies, bread, and jam. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we were able to enjoy a peaceful stay in a clean double room.
